Gateshead Heritage @ St Mary's is a wonderful attraction and resource for local residents and visitors to the region.

Located next to The Sage Gateshead on the south bank of the River Tyne, the heritage centre is housed in one of the regions most beautiful, fascinating and historical buildings.

A wide range of activities and events are held within St. Mary's interior and surrounding graveyard, lunchtime concerts, family history surgeries, guided and self-guided tours, craft fairs, educational visits, and fun activities during school holidays.
