The Sage Gateshead, adjacent to St Mary’s.
ON FOOT / CYCLE
From Newcastle Upon Tyne, cross the Swing Bridge and climb Cannon street, going underneath the Tyne Bridge. St Mary’s will be on your left at the top of the bank.
From Gateshead Town Centre, follow signs for the Sage Gateshead, passing the Old town Hall and going underneath the railway line on Oakwellgate. St Mary’s is directly opposite the Sage Gateshead.
BY CAR
Limited parking is available on site during normal opening hours (10am -4pm) and also for special events held outside of normal opening times.
Alternative car parking is available at Church Street or at the Sage Gateshead, about a 1 minute walk from the Heritage Centre.
St. Mary’s Heritage Centre can be accessed from the North by crossing the Tyne Bridge (A167) and turning left onto Church Street, or from the South by following directions to the ’Sage Gateshead’ and ’Visitor Centre’.
